Management Team: Emad Mirgoli

Emad Mirgoli specializes in government, utility and infrastructure development financings. He also has over 10 years of experience working as part of a team orchestrating the workout of defaulted, land secured municipal bond projects in California, Virginia and Florida.

His municipal finance background includes work at the firms of Stone & Youngberg, UBS Securities and RBC Capital Markets. At Stone & Youngberg, Mirgoli was part of the firm’s S&Y Capital Group which specialized in the workout of defaulted land secured projects. As a member of that team, he was involved in creating workouts for defaulted projects in the cities of Palmdale, Ione and Moreno Valley, California. He joined Common Bond Capital Partners in May 2012.

In addition to his background in public finance, Mirgoli has experience as an energy trader for Koch Energy and Sempra Energy where he traded commodities and worked in structured finance for energy projects. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from California Polytechnic State University, Pomona.
